About Northline

One team, from first sketch to final walkthrough.

Designers and builders on one payroll - that is the whole idea.

The story

Northline started with a simple frustration: the gap between the firm that draws a project and the crew that builds it.

Details fall into that gap - and budgets follow. So we closed it. Our designers and builders share one office, one payroll, and one standard of finish, and every project runs on one contract with a fixed proposal.

Licensed, bonded, and insured - CCB #000000 (sample).

The process
  1. Two people at a table reviewing documents together
    01

    Consultation

We walk the space and talk scope and budget honestly.

  2. Architect's work table with a floor plan, ruler, notebooks and a coffee
    02

    Design

Drawings, selections, and a fixed proposal from the same team that builds.

  3. Timber framing of a house under construction
    03

    Build

One crew, one point of contact, a schedule you can see.

  4. Finished living room with wood floors, a sofa and a ceiling fan
    04

    Handoff

A finished space, a clean site, and a one-year walkthrough. (sample policy)

What we hold to
  • 01 A fixed proposal the bid you sign is the number we build to.
  • 02 One point of contact the person you meet runs your project.
  • 03 A clean site every day, not just the last one.

The quote we signed is the invoice we paid. I did not know that was possible in a remodel.
